All course content, videos, audios, text, photographs, graphics, branding, templates, community content created by us, and other materials (collectively, the "Content") as well as the trademarks, service marks, and logos contained therein (the "Marks"), are owned by How to Align Your Ducks or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
Our Content and Marks are protected by copyright and trademark laws (and various other intellectual property rights and unfair competition laws) and treaties in the United States and around the world.
Purchasing a course grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Content for personal educational purposes. The Content and Marks are provided in or through the Services "AS IS" for your personal, non-commercial use only.
No part of the Services and no Content or Marks may be copied, reproduced, aggregated, republished, uploaded, posted, publicly displayed, encoded, translated, transmitted, distributed, sold, licensed, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose whatsoever, without our express prior written permission.

Your Submissions:
By sending us any question, comment, suggestion, idea, feedback, or other information regarding the Services (“Submissions”), you grant us a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and incorporate such Submissions for any lawful purpose, including improving our Services, without compensation to you.
You acknowledge that we are under no obligation to keep Submissions confidential unless required by applicable law or stated in our Privacy Policy.
Any personal information associated with your Submissions will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and will not be publicly disclosed without your permission except where required by law.
Your Contributions:
The Services may allow you to create, submit, post, display, transmit, publish, or share content and materials through forums, message boards, chats, or other community features (“Contributions”).
You retain ownership of your Contributions and any intellectual property rights associated with them.
By posting Contributions through the Services, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, and use your Contributions as necessary to operate, improve, and provide the Services.
We may also use anonymized excerpts of Contributions, including quotes, transcripts, or text-based examples, for educational, support, product improvement, or promotional purposes.
We will not publicly use or display photographs, videos, audio recordings, or personally identifiable information from your Contributions for marketing purposes without your explicit permission.
You are solely responsible for your Contributions and agree not to post content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, abusive, or otherwise violates these Terms or applicable laws.
3. Educational Purpose Only
Our Services are provided for educational and informational purposes only.
We do not guarantee any specific outcome, financial result, or personal achievement from using our Services. Your success depends on many factors, including your own effort, experience, background, consistency, and external conditions.
Results vary from person to person.
4. Account Access and Household Sharing
When you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You may share your account with members of your immediate household or family. However, sharing access outside your household, reselling access, or distributing account credentials publicly is prohibited.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that are abused, shared beyond household, or used fraudulently.
5. Course Access
Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, course access is provided for a minimum of five (5) years from the date of purchase.
We may continue providing access beyond that period at our discretion. However, we do not guarantee lifetime availability of any course, platform feature, downloadable file, live session, or community area.
We reserve the right to:
- Update course content
- Modify lesson structures
- Replace or remove outdated materials
- Discontinue parts of the Services when reasonably necessary
We will make reasonable efforts to preserve customer access and value over time.
6. Payments and Merchant of Record
Payments are processed by Creem.io, which acts as the merchant of record for purchases.
By making a purchase, you also agree to any applicable terms and policies of Creem.io (Buyer Terms of Service | Creem) and the payment providers used during checkout.
Prices may change at any time, but changes will not affect purchases already completed.
7. Refund Policy
Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis.
We aim to treat customers fairly and reasonably. However, purchasing a course does not automatically entitle you to a refund.
Refund requests may be denied in situations including, but not limited to:
- Significant course consumption or downloading
- Abuse of the refund system
- Repeated refund requests
- Violation of these Terms

8. Downloadable Materials
Some Services include downloadable files, templates, worksheets, or resources.
These materials are provided for your personal use only. You may:
- Download and store them for personal use
- Print them for personal use
- Use them in your own work or business unless otherwise stated
You may not:
- Resell the materials as standalone products
- Redistribute them publicly or privately
- Upload them to piracy websites or shared repositories
- Claim ownership of our materials

These terms of use apply only to our Sites, and not to the Sites of any other companies or organisations, including those we link to. We do not maintain, create, endorse, or take any responsibility for the contents, advertising, products or other materials made available through any other site, including those we link to. Under no circumstances will we be held responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any loss or damage that is caused or alleged to have been caused to you in connection with your use of any content, goods or services available on any other Site.
10. Community Guidelines and Discussion Forums
We may provide forums, discussion spaces, comments, chat areas, or community features.
You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, or abuse others
- Post unlawful, defamatory, hateful, or discriminatory content
- Spam or advertise unrelated products/services
- Upload malicious software or harmful code

While we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Services, we will make reasonable efforts to cooperate with relevant third-party providers to resolve technical issues, restore access within a reasonable timeframe when possible, and provide updates regarding major service disruptions when appropriate.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, How to Align Your Ducks shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Services.
Our total liability relating to any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant Service during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to change or update the information on the Services at any time, without prior notice.

- Misuse the platform or community
- Infringe intellectual property rights
Termination may result in loss of access to purchased content and community features.

Before initiating formal legal proceedings, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve disputes informally and in good faith by contacting the other party directly.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be handled in the appropriate courts of Finland unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws.
